My instax mini

For Christmas last year one of the gifts I received from my parents was an instax mini polaroid camera. In the colour pink. When I got my instax I was so excited. I couldn't wait to start snapping pictures with it.
I love it so much! Its so handy when you just want a little instant picture to keep as a memory or just to  give to a friend. Your pictures also give of vintage vibes and I'm all about that!

The instax mini its extremely easy to use, the quality is also fantastic. Some people may think the film develops slowly, but I think it just adds to the excitement! I also love how its battery operated, so you could just keep spare batteries in your bag and you'll never have to worry about missing a 'Kodak moment' again. However there is a downside to the instax it is that the film is expensive! Its £14 for 20 separate polaroid pictures.
The instax mini is available in five colours. White, blue, pink, yellow and black. Despite its hulking size compared to today’s compact cameras, the Instax mini is light weight and you can fit it in a bag with no trouble.
The buttons and features are basic..on the  front is a button to extend the collapsible lens and turn on the camera. Around the lens is the brightness adjustment dial you can twist to choose the different exposure levels. On the hand grip is the camera trigger with the viewfinder above and the always on flash just beside it. Around the back is where you’ll find compartments for film and were the batteries are meant to go. You can take it anywhere! Its great for family days out, parties and events.

With my camera I also got a case. Its also pink. It has a main compartment to keep the camera in, there is also a pocket on the front on the flap were I just put any pictures that I've taken on the go in. There is also another pocket were I put spare film. The case is also light weight and has a long strap so you can just put it over your shoulder.  Which is an added bonus.

Here are some examples of pictures I've taken:

These pictures were taken at school, with a few of my closest friends. As we are all leaving soon and will not see each other much I wanted to take some pictures as a little keep sake.
This picture was taken when my cat had kittens!
I don't know why I took this, I just love fresh flowers and they were beautiful so I couldn't not take a picture.

I cant praise this camera enough. It also makes great instagram pictures too!
I  recommend this camera to absolutely everyone! Its amazing.  You can purchase the polaroid camera from anywhere. If you just type in 'Instax mini 8 polaroid camera' on google
you can compare different prices and choose the price that suits your budget the most. My parents brought my camera and case on amazon!

Bye for now..J x
