Baking saturday!

This afternoon my brother decided to bake some weird unbaked dish for himself. Which made me really in the mood to actually make something that would taste nice. So i decided to bake some nutella cookies! My cookie recipe is pretty easy to make and takes no time at all..

Ingredients:

8 tsps of plain flour,
2 tsps of caster sugar,
2 tsps of nutella,
1 free range egg yolk,
50g of softened butter,
icing sugar for dusting.

Equipment:

Large bowl,
Tablespoons,
Wooden spoon,
Grease proof paper,
Baking tray.

Method:
  1. Preheat your oven to 180C/350F/Gas 4.
  2. Put the flour, sugar and butter in a bowl and mix.
  3. Then add the yolk and nutella and mix till it forms into a dough.
  4. Once it looks like dough, take small parts and put them onto your tray.
  5. Make sure the tray is lined with grease proof paper.
  6. Lightly flatten your cookie dough and put in the oven.
  7. Bake for 9-13 minutes.
  8. Take out the oven and leave on a wire rack to cool.

TIPS;

If you want chewy cookies take out the oven before the suggested time.
You can also substitute the nutella for anything, peanut butter, chocolate chips. These recipe works with anything.

This recipe makes 12, but only made 6..i just halved the amount of ingredients i put in.
Heres the cookies i made!
I forgot to put butter in them, but they still taste just as good.
I love cookies when they are still warm so i grabbed some milk and ate them there and then. They are delicious and so easy to make.

Happy baking.
Bye for now..J x
