When I was a child I use to go to rainbows and brownies and I loved it!!(If you don't know what that is, its basically a group of girls and leaders that meet once a week, earn badges and have fun!)  I loved the experiences, the concept of getting badges/achievements, making friends and meeting my role models on a weekly basis. Throughout my time at rainbows/brownies I just knew I wanted to grow up and be just like the leaders.. So I did! I also tried out guides but I didn't enjoy it at all so I joined my old rainbow/brownie pack as a young leader.

Crazy cat lady or crazy fox lady?

It dawned on me today that my mum is truly a crazy cat lady. (I mean the signs have always been there, 6 cats, the endless supply of treats, the fact she will go out of her way to make them comfortable) However she doesn't just love cats she seems to have developed a love for two foxes that visit our house every single day! The foxes alternate their visits. They either come together or once at a time..my mum seems to think its her duty to go out especially to  buy food for these foxes. I mean they are cute! But its getting kinda obsessive.
With out doubt every single day they stroll down our path and just sit outside our house, waiting for my mum to come along and feed them. I can't deny that they are adorable! Because they truly are, the cats seem to not be fazed by them either. Which just adds more bonus's on the list for my mum.

Ive heard a lot of negative comments about foxes and that you shouldn't feed them because they are vicious. Despite the comments they have not shown any signs of adverse behaviour. Which makes me wonder why some act out and others are just well normal. Ive also been reading a lot of things about David Cameron wanting to revoke the ban on fox hunting..which makes me sad! The thought of men going out with the intentions to kill foxes is an awful picture. I know its just a small thing to some people but the fact the human race has made an impact regarding the fight to stop animal cruelty and now they just want to take ten steps back! Which is annoying.. I just feel that its unnecessary to go out and kill these animals when the majority of them don't do anything bad to anyone.

Everyone has their own opinions on matters such as these and someone will always disagree with other individuals, so id love to hear your views on fox hunting! You can reach me on my social media sites below:

Box swap with Bex!

A while ago I was involved in a box swap with a youtuber called Bex! I received the package a long time ago.. although I have been extremely busy and I was unable to take time out to write this post. Im sorry for the long amount of time its taken me to get this blog post up!

We both agreed on a maximum amount of money we could both spend, we also decided that we would get to know each others likes and dislikes by going through each others sites. After literally stalking Bex's  sites for a few days I thought I was ready to start buying products I thought she'd like.

When I received my package I was still finishing my exams and was on a revision day..so I was very excited when I answered the door and saw I had received my swap already.
The first thing I noticed was the beautiful pink tissue paper it was wrapped in! It was adorable. Opening the package I realised that the gifts were wrapped in the same tissue paper. It was all very fancy and cute.

Baking products:

As you all know I love baking..Im always looking for new things to add to my collection. So when I opened these I was ecstatic.

-Cupcake cases
This are different to the normal plain cases I usually buy. I love the colours and the quirky patterns.

- Tea cupcake silicon cases
Ive used silicon cases before and found they are so effective and don't waste paper cases. Ive seen this sort of cases on Pinterest before and I could never find any! I was very very happy to say the least. The box contains two silicon tea cups and two plastic dishes to set the tea cup on. I love them already and I can't wait to try them out.

- Cupcake boxes
I always find single cupcake cases very handy to have around incase I may need them. Guess what, ive already used 3!

- Silicone chocolate mould
Ive never used silicone moulds before, although I'm sure they are handy when making decoration for baked goods. They aren't too big either so I will definitely get some use out of this.

- Egg timer
You basically put it in the saucepan with your egg and it will change colour and you just follow the instructions to how you like you egg. I don't tend to cook savoury foods because I'm pretty useless at cooking..however I will get some use out of this in the future.

Beauty products:

-Exfoliating gloves
Ive already used the gloves with my soap and glory 'smoothie star breakfast scrub' and I honestly can't get enough of them.

- Nivea lip balm
I always carry a lip balm around with me and I go through lip balms like theres no tomorrow, so having and extra one lying around is very handy.

- Fake eye lashes
I don't wear makeup/lashes but I do attend different events/parties, so I am definitely going to use these very soon.

- Face mask
I really enjoy using face masks they make my skin so smooth and fresh. I've used this specific mask before and I've always been left with excellent results.

- Lush sweetie pie shower jelly
If you know me you will know my love for all things lush.. this is by far one of my top favourite products from lush! It smells amazing and a little goes a long way. Plus you can never have enough shower jellies.

- Rimmel london nail varnish
I paint my nails a lot although my normal shades are brighter! So I can't wait to try this shade out.

Candles:

- Yankee candle fruity melon
I love yankee candles a lot! Ive smelt this scent before although I always hesitate when going to buy it. As I feel it isn't strong enough. Although I really like it! The scent gets more distinct when burning it.

- Yankee candle cherry vanilla
Ive had a full size version of this scent before and it just smells divine.

- Yankee candle vanilla frosting
This tops all of the scents I've ever had before, I love it so much! Ive nearly burnt the whole candle which makes me sad..So I'm going to have to go out to purchase  it very soon.

I can't thank you enough for everything you brought me! I love every single item. I really appreciate you taking time out to do this box swap with me.
I really enjoyed picking out all your items and I hope you love them all.

I highly recommend you all going over to Bex's youtube channel and twitter page!
She's such a lovely person and makes the best youtube videos. Her channel is pretty great.

Party planning

Incase you didn't know I'm the maid of honour for my brothers wedding. And I've been enlisted to plan the hen do! Which is super cool. Im so excited! But its soooo hard thinking about appropriate activities for everyone. You have to think about everyone and every little detail.  However I have so many great ideas.

Growing up I've always been interested in events and planning..so this is probably the best thing for me. Although I don't think ill take event planning up as a profession, its so stressful!!
Making sure everyone can make the chosen date, supplying the right type of food, making sure the venue is right, ensuring it will be a memorable night. Making sure I have all these little details in place to make up the night is exciting though. I can't wait!! Eeek.

But the hardest part of planning this event is not telling the bride! Although its probably a good choice so it  can all be a surprise to her. I will not be telling her a thing, which is probably irritating her!! Hahah.

Now I've finished school I can put the majority of  my attention/time into making sure this party runs smoothly and efficiently!

Today we spent the morning writing out the invitations for the wedding with her grandad..and we ate lunch and cake in the conservatory which was so cute! I can't believe its all finally coming together.

Leaving school and moving on..

Today was the end of my schooling journey.  Which seems so surreal. I don't know whether to be sad or jump with joy..the fact school has now come to an end means I'm finally out in the big wide world. Which is daunting, I honestly don't know where the time went. It only seems like yesterday is my first day of year 7 and I was feeling apprehensive.
The past 5 years have been a whirl wind of lots of different aspects that make up your school life..like  friends, teachers, arguments, dramas. So much has happened during these 5 years, that have helped me become the person I am today. Ive learnt a lot from school..not only educational facts but also life lessons. It seems so strange that 5 years of work can come to down to a few exams! I will never agree with the educational system but yano, I suppose it works.

Ive had  some good times but also bad and I honestly wouldn't change it for the world. Ive bonded with some amazing people and Im so glad I did. Although I feel sorry for all the people that had to tolerate me day in and day out! Haha. Im thankful to everyone who put up with me, helped me through bad times and helped me excel in school.

I think the only reason I'm sad is because I'm leaving the little bubble I've been in, I've been protected if you will and the fact now I've got to leave is scary.  Also all the people, Ive spent most of my teenage  life with my peers and teachers and for it all to abruptly end is weird.  However I will not dwell on the past and I will not wish I did anything differently because its all part of the experience and growing up! Over all I'm rather happy! Im especially excited about all the bigger and better things that will come up in the future!

Not feeling good about myself..

The majority of us all feel crappy about ourselves from time to time.. Myself included. Whether it's your appearance, people around you, social media or just events that have occurred we have all gone through that phase that we feel useless, unworthy, flawed..and I don't think it's a bad thing, I just think it shows we care? Right?

Throughout my life I've spent the majority it feeling crappy about myself...feeling negative about my appearance, what I wear,  whether I'm good enough.. I think a lot of things have contributed to these feelings. Like social media, celebrities, people around me. I've realised all the decisions and things I've done are to fit in and feel accepted. Although the truth is i've never actually felt accepted, not only in myself but also with people around me. I think I will always feel like this until I become more confident and happy. Until then I will continue to try and help myself snap out of this frame of mind. Not feeling happy about myself is just creating a bigger negative image in my head..it will also block me from doing things in the future. Which will probably make me feel even worse.. not only will I be feeling shitty I'll also be thinking what if..

I've always been convinced mentally and emotionally that this pain will continue until I die to be honest. I don't blame anyone for these feelings. Some people blame their parents, or how they've been treated previously. Although I've realised I have no one to blame but myself.

So I've decided I'm going to help overcome and cancel out these feelings by doing several different things..
Firstly stop caring what other people have to say! It's definitely easier said than done..I'm a sensitive person and what people say about me affects me emotionally. But I've decided to block it out and carry on with my life.
Secondly do what makes me happy! I can't feel good about myself If I carry on doing things I don't want to do..
Thirdly I'm going to stop looking at other people wishing I had their life. I've realised I have a good life and I should stop wanting what others have and just make a life for myself.
Additionally I'm going to accept who I am and reflect on what I've accomplished. I've accomplished a large amount of things during my life and I should be proud of all of them!

This is a personal post.. And I hope if you are feeling the same way you should follow the steps I will be to overcoming them. It will make you feel a lot better doing so. Because your amazing and don't let anyone tell you any different.

My accessory wishlist!

Recently I've been loving all kinds of different accessories! I thought id share with you all what accessories id love to own.

1: Aldo Paris clutch- Asos:  Okay, so I was scrolling through asos and I came across this clutch! I literally fell in love with it there and then. Mostly because its Parisian, but I just also love its shape and its so unique. Ive never seen a clutch like this before. Which is so appealing to me. I love the colours too, they are so warm and inviting.

2: Reins leather purse- Asos: This purse is so different to what I normally go for..my normal purses are big and elaborate. Although this is just so simply and I really like it! What screams buy me with this purse is the little triangle detail. Its adorable! Its so simple but I just love it.

3: Heat necklace- Forever 21: I never really wear necklaces, although when I do they are sparkly and big. I really love this necklace. Its got the sparkle factor and its a heart. At the moment I'm just loving simple things! Haha.

4: Is it Friday yet? phone case: This is literally my whole process Monday to Thursday. I love weekends. I also like to change my mobiles fashion accessory frequently. So I will most probably be purchasing this in the future.

5: Faux stone cuff- Forever 21: I don't tend to wear any bracelets/cuffs. Just my pandora bracelet. And Id really like to change that. I love the detailing of this cuff, the small band and the squared stone. I especially love the colour..

6: Black cut out lace up platform heels- Newlook: I really love these heels. The way they are cut, the fact you have to lace them up! Its just so different to normal slip on heels.

7: Giraffe charm necklace- Forever 21: This necklace is super cute! I just love it! I love how theres two little giraffes connected to each other.

8: Black satchel bag- Michael kors: I think every girl dreams of owning there own Michael Kors bag some time or another. Ive been dreaming of owning one for years and years. Firstly they are gorgeous, secondly have you seen the quality! They are just the perfect bag. And I am in desperate need of one!

9: Crown ring- Pandora: The girls brought me the bracelet, so now Id really like a ring to add to the collection. I really like this one. Its so cute and I really like the little rhinestone in the middle of the crown. And as I can't own a real crown this ring is the next best thing right?

10: Sunglasses- Raybans: Summers approaching and I've been looking at a lot of different sunglasses..although I decided id like to buy sunglasses I might as well go higher end and buy some that will actually work and last. Im not very adventurous when it comes to sunglasses, so standard black ones are the ones for me!

Edible photo cupcakes!

This is the most exciting post EVER. Yesterday I received the most amazing package. A company called Eat your photo had sent me 12 cupcakes. I love cupcakes so you could probably imagine my delight. I opted for the chocolate cupcakes with an Eiffel tower photo on the top and I am so glad I did they are delicious. The cupcakes were boxed perfectly, none of the cupcakes were damaged during transit either. So I was very impressed. When they came to my front door and I had to sign for them I squealed in delight I was so excited. They also didn't take long to come so they are great for occasions.

The first thing I noticed whilst inspecting the yummy treats was the quality of the image. It's amazing! It's so clear, the colours are all right and It's not blurred like other edible photos I've had before. Which was a definetely a plus.
I chose the Eiffel tower picture however you can choose whatever photo you'd like.

When I look for cupcakes I like to have cupcakes that separates from the case easily, which they did! I was so surprised. The cupcakes are also moist and full of flavour. Which I didn't expect at all.  The cupcakes were completely different to what I expected. (which is a good thing!) When trying them I was rather hesitant, although I was definitely pleasantly surprised with how good the product actually is! They taste amazing.. I honestly can't describe how tasty they actually are, you'll just have to go buy some and find out for yourself!

I think I'd go far to say they are probably one of the best cupcakes I've tried!
Id highly recommend you going to purchase these right now! They are so yummy you can't not!!
You can visit there website for more details.
For 12 cupcakes It's only £20! (I know I know its so great value for money). Or you can buy more/less.

Overall I'm very impressed with these cupcakes. They are everything you want In a cupcake!

Hmm, Id like to be a cat! Living and growing up with cats Ive realised that cats have it so easy..they just sleep, eat and play. I mean how great would that be. Immortality: The ability to live forever.
Id like to have that power because I am genuinely scared of death. I love being alive! The thought of death is horrible. I love this world and a lot of people in it..I also want to help make a change in the world. And I wouldn't be about to make a big impact in my small life span!

My bucket list is very long! Haha, one of the things id like to do is 'Go help at a fashion week' Whether its in Milan, Paris, London anywhere..I so want to help! The whole concept of helping with such a international event is exciting. Id love to be part of that!

6) Pepsi or coke?

I don't like coke much, so definitely pepsi.

7) A country that you would like to visit and why?

Paris!! There is a endless list of reasons why I want to go to Paris. The food, the attractions, the shopping, disney! Every aspect of Paris is just perfect. Even the smelly people I keep hearing about! Id be so excited to just go for a day.

Blueberries..I only come to this conclusion today actually.

Favourite clothing store Q&A!

So this post is actually a collab with Amy, over at: http://smoothamy.blogspot.co.uk
We have decided to do a little Q&A to do with our favourite clothing store Primark. We both tweeted a few days ago asking for you guys to come up with questions we could answer.. This is what you all came up with!

1: If Primark didn't exist what would your favourite shop be?

Id probably say Newlook, I love Newlook and everything about their clothes. They are a lot different to Primark and thats probably why I love both them.

2: Whats your favourite department in Primark?

I honestly can't pick, I like the majority of departments there! Including their homeware, sleepwear and clothes. Although I've never actually brought any shoes from Primark..as I don't think they'd be worth it.

3: Do you think Primark is good value for money?

I think so yes. They are fair for what you're getting.

4: When was the last time you went to Primark?

On Wednesday actually!

5: Do you think the quality is good/bad?

Well, I wouldn't say its excellent. But I think for what your paying for is acceptable.

6: Whats the customer service like?

I think it alls depends on what store you go to! The ones near my home the staff are lovely. Although every time I visit the store in Lakeside I find the staff are so rude.

7: Do you think the clothes are in trend?

Yes, they frequently change what they in stock to fit the new craze.

8: Do you ever feel guilty after spending a large amount of money in there?

I don't feel guilty when I spend money anywhere! I actually feel the opposite.

9: Do you think Primark will evolve even more?

Im not sure.. I think they've reacher their peak to be honest.

10: Do you think the clothes are a good fit?

Well some things yes, but sometimes I have to purchase some clothes a size bigger.

11: Have you ever been put of going in there?

Yes! Once I was in a class at school and we was watching documentaries about slavery and how Primark make young children in under privileged countries spend hours and hours making the clothes. It made me really emotional actually. I was really effected and disheartened.. I had to leave the class. Although I found out it wasn't just Primark that does this, Its also other big companies. But when I thought about it.. I realised they if they didn't have the chance to produce these clothes they would probably be in a worse state. So now I don't feel so bad when I go in there.

12: Do you think they sell a varied amount of stuff in Primark?

Yes definitely, Primark is a like a little department store.

13: Do you enjoy going in there?

I do when there isn't masses of people in there and when I'm not being rushed!

14: Would you recommend Primark to people who haven't been there before?

Yes defo! Its great. They sell so many different things..

15: Why is Primark your favourite shop?

Because it is just great! They sell everything you could want..dresses,home decor, shoes, underwear, makeup, accessories! Absolutely everything. Its amazing, the prices are so cheap as well! So you don't have to worry about that. I just love going shopping especially when theres a Primark nearby!

I hope you enjoy my blog post and you go over and check out Amy's Q&A post! Because she's great and so is her blog!

Lush product review!

Seeing my basket full of lush products excites me! Recently I brought some new products and I wanted to do a review on the bubble bar 'The comforter'

- Lush, The comforter £4.75

This is one of the best bubble bars lush makes. Its smells amazing! It smells like sherbet and blackcurrants like a majority of their products.  I will get at least 4 baths out of this, because its so big I like to break it into sections. Which is actually really good! Most people think its over priced..although I think the price is bang on. Its good value for money and its a good quality product. When crumbled into a bath it smells heavenly. I love the scent so much. It turns the bath the most beautiful pink colour. Even a quarter of it produces a large amount of bubbles. After I've bathed I am left feeling clean and my skin is extremely soft. The bathroom also stays smelling great even after the water has been drained. The bar is also easy to crumble and it doesn't take forever to get it in the bath. I have found no fault with this product so far! I will definitely be repurchasing this product once I've run out. Its in with my top 10 favourite products from lush.

I definitely recommend this bubble bar to anyone who likes sweet fragrances and soft skin. ( Which is mostly everyone lets face it..)
Don't be thrown of by the size and price because like I've said you can separate it into sections and get at least 4 baths out of this.

Disclaimer:  These opinions are all my own and I truly believe everything I've written.

Mini lakeside haul

I was planning on buying so much stuff at lakeside yesterday, although my mood was dampened with the whole train situation. So I decided to buy a few things yesterday. I decided I wanted to share with you what I did buy.

- Primark, £5.00 short pj set
Whenever I make a trip to lakeside I always seem to buy a set of new pj's.. although I have to choose wisely, as I only like the feeling of some fabrics. I decided on buying these 'tweet me' pjs shorts and top. Both have little chicks on them with the phrase 'tweet me' on them. They are so adorable! Im really into twitter at the moment. So that probably contributed to my decision on buying them. They are a stretchy material and they are so soft! I love them, I can't wait to wear them.

- Primark, £3.00 pj shorts
I really really love these shorts..although I had mixed feelings about the top. So I just brought the shorts. They are light weight and the material feels like a cheaper version of silk if I'm honest. What drew me to the shorts were the little bit of lace at the bottom. Its so vintage! I also love the little white hearts. Its also getting hotter, so I am in desperate need of pj shorts.

- Lush, £2.35 Space girl bath bomb
Going to lush is like a tradition when I go to lakeside. I just have to go..I honestly can't stop myself. Every time I go to lush I immediately go to find the space girl bath bomb. As you are probably aware its my favourite lush product EVER. If you don't know what a bath bomb is you basically run a bath then pop it into the bath and let it fizz away! Then you are left with coloured and lovely smelling water. Its that simple.

- Lush, £3.35 Granny takes a dip (bath bomb)
I brought this bath bomb on my last trip to lush and I like it a lot. Its got a very subtle scent and I really like it! Because when I'm overwhelmed with one smell it makes me feel sick. So this is just perfect. Its so big! So I normally cut into 4 pieces, as I feel its too much for just one bath.

- Lush, £2.95 Bubblegrub (bubbleroon)
I didn't actually buy this for myself. Which is surprising..I actually brought it for my mum. I remember her telling me she liked it last time I brought it for her so I got it again. It smells different to the others. They are all sweet but this smells so different. Its a very sandalwoody smell. Bubbleroons are designed to make your bath into bubbly goodness. Which is exactly what it does. It has two layers, so you pull them apart and break a piece off and then crumble it under running water. It will then turn into bubbles.

- Lush, £4.75 The comforter (bubble bar)
I love the smell of this bubble bar.. it smells like sherbet is probably the best way I could describe it..all I know is its pretty great. You do the same with this like the bubble grub. You could probably get 4 baths out of this, it just depends how many bubbles you'd like.

- Paperchase, £3.00 Parisian note book
I was so excited when I heard there was a paperchase opening in lakeside. So obviously I had to go in there. I was on the  look out for a new notebook to write down my blogging schedule and when I saw this I couldn't resist buying it. I love anything to do with Paris and the fact it had the Eiffel tower on the cover I just had to get it.  The pages inside are just as artistic as the front!

- Primark, £1.00 Travel bottle set
I was on the look out for things to buy for the festival. When I saw these I thought of all the stuff I could put in there. They are also mini so thats a bonus. It comes with a  handy little case and stickers so you could label the bottles.

I was pretty happy with all the items I brought today!

Bye for now..J x

Cute day out!

Today I went out with a few friends. Which is kinda weird considering in order to get to our destination we had to get a train...and I really don't do public transport. When we got to the station we were told there was problems with the train line, which meant we had to get a train and then a bus. Although it turned out we had to get 2 trains and a bus to get to the shopping centre. Which was mad! We spent most of our time travelling! But all in all we had a great day.
When we got there we was starving so we grabbed some food. Me and Evie decided to get some Thai food! I am definitely not adventurous when it comes to trying new things. But she urged me to get some chicken pan thai. IT WAS AMAZING. It was a good choice! But its definitely safe to say I can't use chopsticks to save my life:').

After we ate we went to a few shops like primark, next, newlook, paper chase, boots, forever 21. Although walking around and spending money is thirsty work! So we made a pit stop to costa.

Where I obviously brought a peach lemonade.

Our shopping trip was coming to an end and we decided to go grab something to drink..I got a blueberry blast from boost. Which was heavenly.

When we got to the station we had to get two different trains to get home! Which sucked, but of course we just got on with it. We had a lovely time and will definitely be going again soon!! It was so nice to see the girls and have a catch up.

What did you get up to today?

Bye for now..J x
